How to Add Your Signature to Gmail

Step 1: Open Gmail Settings

  1. Open Gmail in your web browser
  2. Click the gear icon in the top right corner
  3. Select "See all settings"

Step 2: Navigate to Signature Settings

  1. Scroll down to the "Signature" section
  2. Click "Create new" if you don't have a signature yet
  3. Or select an existing signature to edit

Step 3: Paste Your Signature

  1. Copy the Gmail HTML version from your signature
  2. In the signature editor, click the "Insert signature" button
  3. Paste your HTML signature
  4. Click "Save Changes" at the bottom of the page

Step 4: Set as Default (Optional)

You can set your signature to automatically appear in new emails, replies, and forwards by selecting it in the "Default signature" dropdown.

Tips

  • Use the Gmail-specific HTML version for best compatibility
  • Test your signature by sending yourself an email
  • Images in signatures may be blocked by some email clients
